Havurah Shalom, in partnership with EcoFaith Recovery and Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, will be hosting a film discussion about the documentary Kiss the Ground on Sunday, April 25, from 4:00-6:00 pm Pacific time. Listen to an expert panel discuss how we can engage in carbon sequestration and regenerative agriculture in our state, city, and our own backyards. You’ll hear from Kristin Ohlson (author of The Soil Will Save Us), EcoFaith’s Community Carbon initiative and the work of a pilot project at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, as well as other organizations engaged in restorative agriculture.
InterFaith Power and Light has organized with the producers of Kiss the Ground to make it available for FREE screening from April 10-April 26. Join members of St. Andrew’s Community Carbon Team for some inspiration. Sign up to receive access to the film now.
