The word Liturgy is derived from a Greek phrase that means “work of the people.” At St. Andrew, making worship happen depends on the work of the people—people in the pews, people on the chancel in front, and people behind the scenes. We rely on lay leaders such as ushers, lectors, cantors, assisting ministers, acolytes, IT specialists and many others that make it seem easy, but without them, it would be anything but easy.
