Advanced Educational Scholarship |

The St. Andrew Foundation has established a scholarship for those engaged in advanced educational work in preparation for service within the church. |
In the past, the St. Andrew Foundation has given annual college scholarships to encourage faith development and higher education in the youth of our church. Scholarships in memory of beloved members Bob and Ginny Armstrong and Billie LeRoy were awarded, thanks to generous donations by their estates and families. Those funds are now depleted to almost zero. Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Foundation, only a percentage of donations may be distributed as grants or scholarships. Until donations once again reach a level high enough to allow for a scholarship, no awards can occur. For the school year 2010-2011, the college scholarship is suspended. A rebuilding of the college scholarship program has begun.
The Board of the Foundation encourages all members of St. Andrew to consider remembering the Foundation as part of their charitable giving and estate planning. See "Giving to the Foundation" for more information and a form outlining how to become a Faithful Friend of the Foundation. |
